ABOUT TRIP

The Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most well-known parks and is crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. The Maasai term “Amboseli,” which means “salty dust,” is the source of the name. Tsavo East National park, is the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to many large mammals, including vast herds of red elephants, rhinos, buffalo, lions, and leopards as well as pods of hippopotamuses, crocodiles, waterbucks, lesser kudus, and gerenuks. The park also supports a thriving bird population with 500 known species.

DAYS 1

Amboseli National Park
  • Leave Nairobi and drive southwards through maasai land via Namanga on the Tanzania border where you shall have lunch
  • Proceed to Amboseli national park and check-in our camp./lodge.
    afternoon game drive in search of rhinos, elephants ,lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests etc.
  • Mt.Kilimanjaro ,Africa’s highest mountain provides backdrop from this park.
  • Eat Dinner and spend overnight in the camp.

DAYS 2

Game viewing
  • Have breakfast at 06:30 hours and have a day in the park.
  • Optional visit the Maasai village (at an extra fee) or take a nature walk.
  • Lunch in the camp/lodge.
  • Evening game viewing with dinner and overnight in the camp.

DAYS 3

Tsavo East National Park
  • After breakfast, morning game drive where we proceed to Tsavo-east national park arriving in time for lunch.
  • This park has herds of elephants, famous man eating lions (during the building of the Kenya / Uganda railway in 1890)  other species of wildlife.
  • It is in this park that you will also find the Yatta plateau, one of the world`s longest larva flow.
  • Dinner and overnight in the camp / lodge

DAYS 4

Mombasa Coast line
  • After breakfast, leave for enchanting Kenyan coast arriving in Mombasa  by lunch time.
  • Check-in your hotel.
  • Spend the rest of the day at the hotel or beach at leisure.
  • Spend overnight in the hotel getting ready for our forth day.

DAYS 5

The history of Mombasa
  • After breakfast visit old town and other attractions.
  • start your day off with a trip to Fort Jesus,the city`s largest museum and attraction. Built in 1593 by the Portuguese,this storied fort offers a glimpse into prison cells and torture rooms for slaves before they were traded. The adjoining museum gives an overview of the fort`s role throughout the city`s history.
  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and head over to old town to walk through Mombasa’s varied architecture, which tells the stories of its history with its strong European, Arab and African influences.
  • Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAYS 6

Back to Nairobi
  • After breakfast, embark on your journey to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon.
  • Spend overnight in our hotel.

DAYS 7

Flight & more holidays
  • Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International airport [optional]
